The Curtain Is Torn

Hello 👋

Today we celebrate Easter!
And there is one craft that you can do to remember the story and the importance of Easter. Do you remember how in God’s house, the tabernacle, there was a place that was called “Holy of Holies”? That place was super special and only one person could go there once per year. It was were God was with his presence. This part of the tabernacle (or later the temple) was closed off by a curtain. Because people broke God’s agreement with them, they were divided from God.
When Jesus died he took all of those things on himself. The moment he died the curtain in the temple split from the top to the bottom. Now there was no division anymore!
Because of what Jesus has done there is a way for us to live with God! That truly is a reason to celebrate.
